A'akuluujjusi
A'akuluujjusi is the great creator mother among the Inuit people. A'akuluujjusi created the animals that the Inuit people eat such as Caribous and Walruses. The people became upset because these two new animals attacked them. Therefore, A'akuluujjusi swapped the walrus' antlers and the caribou's tusks. After that, the people still complained that the caribou was too fast to catch. A'akuluujjusi solved this by turning the caribou's belly-hair around so that the hairs will get caught in the wind, slowing the caribou down.

In ancient times, A'akuluujjusi helped the Inuit people to gain source of food, since he was the one who created the walruses and caribous. Without him, the people would not have survived. Through this event, our modern world now has walruses and caribous roaming around.

Abaangui
Abaangui is the God of Moon. In mythology, Abaangui was said to cut off his nose. When he threw it to the sky, it became the moon.

Through his action, Abaangui gave light to world when the sun is away, shining down on the people as the moon. Until today, he is still holding that responsibility.

Ayahuta-Achi
Ayahuta-Achi is also known as Twin War Gods. They were second-in-command to the Sun God, Awonawilona. Carving an effigy of him from a piece of wood which has been struck by lightning can grant you protection or victory in battle, as the myth goes. Then bore a hole in it and leave it outside somewhere.

Ayahuta-Achi provided protection to his people without the cost of senseless sacrifices and bloodshed. Only through worshiping. Today, we can all still practice this dying tradition to gain protection from this god.

Achiyalabopa
Also commonly known as Achiyalatopa. Achiyalabopa is a giant bird monster who was considered to be a celestial deity. It has rainbow coloured wings, and its feathers were like knives. His feathers and sharp bill may be lethal as it can easily kill a human.

Nothing much is said about Achiyalabopa, but he certainly is a deity who was respected by the ancient people. Perhaps his feathers which was shaped as a knife gave ideas to man to invent sharp items such as swords and knifes.

Adekagagwaa
In the Iroquois mythology, Adekagagwaa is the personification of the summer.

Aguara
The God of Fox. Also the god who gave the carob tree to the people.

Aguara gave sources of food to the people by putting the Carob Tree into existence. This event actually affects our modern world. The invention of the Carob Tree leads to making chocolates for animals, fastfood and sources of food for many insects.

A'hea
Also known as Ahe'a. She is the Grandmother of all Kachinas.

A'hea gave birth to the Kachinas. Without her, modern Kachinas would not have existed

Aholi
Aholi is the God of the Spring. He is also second-in-command to Eototo. He wears a cloak of many colors, symbolising the bright fertile happiness of spring.

The joyousness of spring came from this very god, who had made everything in this season fertile and giving farmers an abundance of crops. Until today, the world still enjoy this season.

Alk'umta'm
Alk'umta'm is the Sun God. He is the son of the Mosquito Goddess, Nunuso.

He gave light to the world when everything was dark, illuminating the entire sky and giving life with it. Nothing would have come into existence if it weren't for him.

Allowat Sakima
Allowat Sakima means Mighty Chief or Great Chief, and also supreme deity, the Great Spirit. He is a respectful reference to for legendary personages with cultural and historical significance to the tribe. Most often depicted wearing a double-tail eagle bonnet, deerskin leggings, and an eagle feather coup stick.

Allowat Sakima gave courage and strength to the people of the past. He heavily affected the tribes in the past, and therefore influencing how man has become today.

Awonawilona
Description: Awonawilona is the Creator God. He made the sun and ocean, which was covered with green algae that hardened, split and became Awitelin Tsta and Apoyan Tachi. The first humans came from four caves in the underworld. The Earth was originally an extremely dangerous place -- filled water and also monsters. The children of Awonawilona pitied mankind and hardened earth with lightning, then turned dangerous animals into stone.

The world was born, when he came into existence, giving life and creating oceans and the sun. Because of him, humans live a peaceful life as he eliminated all threats on Earth.

Aningan
Aningan is the Eskimo God of the Moon. He has an igloo in the sky, from which he emerges to chase his sister the Sun across the firmament. He resides in the house of his cousin Irdlirvirisissong.

He's also the one responsible on the moon. Thus, you can say that he gives us light during nighttime when everything was dark.

Angak' Chin Mana
She is known as the Long Haired Girl of the Kachinas. Although that may sound feminine, the "long hair" is actually not her hair, but her beard -- A bushy red one. She dances around and shakes her beard to spread pollen.

Asagaya-Gigagei
Asagaya-Gigagei is known as Red Thunder God of Lightning. Sometimes, he is also known as Thunder God of Red Lightning. Which is just inverted. He also does healing. He also has the ability to change sex to be in sympathy with whoever he is healing.

Asagaya-Gigagei helped others a lot through healing and such. He also cared for his patient's feelings when healing as he constantly change sex to pleases his patients. The native americans life must have changed for the better with Asagaya-Gigagei around.

Baxbakualanuchsiwae
Baxbakualanuchsiwae is the Guardian spirit at the End of the Universe, which is in the Arctic. When he cooks, you will see only the smoke from his cooking in the form of the Northern Lights, rainbows, the Milky Way or pie in the sky. His name is also the Kwakiutl name for the Cannibal Spirit, and the appellation signifies "the first to eat man at the mouth of the river.

His action of cooking made Rainbows and Northern Lights came into existence. Today, we all enjoy his "smoke" as a beautiful scenery.

Binaye-Ahani
Binaye Ahani are group monsters known as Anaye. They are unnatural spirits that are limbless and are in the form of twins. Although, they are very much lethal and can kill you with just a glance.

Binaye-Ahani actually doesn't bring positive effects to the people, as he is a monster that threatens man. He taught the native americans to be more cautious to not get into trouble with Binaye-Ahani. We should all take note that even though Binaye-Ahani may not exist, we must always be cautious.

Cavillaca
Coniraya is the Moon God. He is said to shaped his sperm into a shape of a fruit, which a virgin goddess, Cavillaca liked. The goddess ate the fruit, and became pregnant. She borned a baby boy soon after. When Cavillaca found out that Coniraya was the father, she ran away with her son and turned herself to stone together with her son.

Chac
Description: Chac is the God of fertility and also the God of Agriculture. He is one of the Bacabs and is known to have a long nose. Alternately, he is also known as the Ah Hoya which meant "He Who Urinates", Ah Tzenul which meant "He Who Gives Food to Others" and also Hopop Caan which meant "He Who Lights Up The Sky".

Chac made all living things fertile and because of that, natives worshiped him a lot. He gave better production of crops and we should all be thankful.

Chicomecoatl
Chicomecoatl is usually pictured by having lines on a red face, a headdress, and ear made of maize in her hands or on her back. She is the God of Maize, Food, Nourishment and Fertility.

Corn came into existence through this goddess. Other than that, she gave food to the natives and made their crops fertile. Today, we enjoy her invention of corn in many types of dishes.

Chalchihuitlicue
Chalchihuitlicue is the Goddess of Running Water and Fertility. She ruled over all the waters of the earth. She is also known as the Goddess of Storms, youthful beauty, whirlpools, spring growth, love, flowers and much more. This goddess is the protectrees of infants and marriage.

Chantico
Chantico is the Goddess of hearh fires and volcanic fires. Even so, she is also the goddess of home and fertility. The name Chantico meant "She Who Dwells in The House".

Chantico indirectly gave life to the world as he continuously make land to sustain living things. At the same time, he made natural homes for them to stay in. Without Chantico we wouldn't have came into existence today.

Chiccan
Chiccan is a group of four rain Gods. They're associated with the four cardinal directions and also the one responsible for creating rain clouds from deep lakes in which they reside.

Chiccan gave clean waters to the people through rain as he specializes in creating rainstorms. He also make many clean lakes and springs for the people to enjoy.

Coatlicue
Coatlicue is also known as Teteoinan which meant the Mother of Gods. She is the one who gave birth to the Moon and Stars. According to legend, she was once magically impregnated by a ball of feathers that fell on her while she was sweeping a temple. Because of that, she gave birth to the gods Quetzalcoatl and Xolotl.

Coatlicue is a very important god as she gave birth to every god in existence. Without her, nothing would have existed.
